Sal represented the citizens of Medford on the City Council
for 7 years. He was twice elected as Council President and
twice elected as Council Vice President by his peers.
While on the Council, Sal handled the day-to-day business of
city government while helping to create a vision that
government can do more with less.
Other aspects that Sal Esquivel takes pride in during his
tenure as councilperson was working diligently to ensure
citizen safety and well-being.
He accomplished that by making sure that law enforcement and
fire departments had the best equipment and training
available. With a “more with less” vision, Sal created a
more efficient city government for greater livability for
all the residents of Medford.
